Positional ChangePERMALIGN SERVICE

Cold alignment targets may not accurately predict the actual operating condition of a running machine.  Permalign is used to monitor movement of machines during run-up or coast-down phase, in order to determine the positional change over time and the influences of given events.  Once the thermal growth and dynamic movement are measured, alignment targets are calculated and the machines are aligned to compensate for the positional changes that occur.

Service includes a detailed graphical measurement report of the positional changes, recommended alignment targets and shaft alignment report.

Similar to Permalign, Live Trend provides real-time measurement of the positional change that can occur from thermal growth and dynamic movement.  Recommended for short-term monitoring.
